Global gas fires are available in both balanced flue and conventional flue formats. The balanced flue versions can be installed in homes with or without a traditional chimney, offering style, efficiency and flexibility. The conventional flue versions are designed to be inserted into Class 1 British or Irish chimneys, with ease and economy of installation.

Global 55XT CF is a modern gas fire with a classic DRU log fire display. It has a width of 55 cms (22 inches) and a narrow depth of only 32 cms, which makes ir ideal for installation into a Class 1 UK chimney with minimal building conversion work required.

The extra high 535 mm glass fron of this gas fire makes it perfect for installation with the classic ‘Jessica’ customised fire surround.

There is a choice of mirrored Ceraglass, black or classic stone interiors and it has a minimal frame with no visible gaps on either side of the viewing window. It can be installed with a choice of standard or panoramic frames for added visual appeal.

For the installer, it has a convenient 8 mm gas connection and, subject to chimney condition, there is no need for a chimney liner. For added convenience, it is also equipped with an on/off switch, which is accessible from the front of the fireplace.

And with a heat output of 4.5 kW and energy efficiency of 78%, it provides both comfort and economy.
